Rental Policies

THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF 10.99 USD PER DAY FOR EACH ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVER OTHER THAN A SPOUSE OR DOMESTIC PARTNER.

Customer must pre-arrange after hours service in advance. After hours service is available at some locations at a cost of $25.00 USD.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, and the maximum rental age is 75 years. Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.

According to the Federal Administration of Public Revenue, a government agency of Argentina, there has been an amendment to the Argentina cross border policy which allows temporary admission of leased vehicles from Argentina to Chile. Within the framework of the binational technical meetings, it was agreed to adopt a single form for the output and temporary admission of rented vehicles, and the recording of such events in a centralized database and information exchange via Internet between the two customs. Due to this change, please see below for the following process. Driving is unrestricted within Argentina. Customer can also cross bordering states of Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil. Due to customs regulations, vehicles are not allowed to cross into Paraguay or Bolivia. Chile-If Customer wishes to cross border into Chile, a permit which is valid into Chile only can be issued in the amount of 80 USD plus tax and airport fee. Customer must request cross border pass at the time of reservation and must present a passport at the time of arrival. The cross border pass can only be issued by non airport locations and if customer is renting at the airport, they must go to the nearest non airport location to complete paperwork. The non airport rental station will submit the request through an online process which can take up to 48 hours to receive the permit. The formal request form cannot be submitted before the customer signs the contract and customer must be present before transaction begins. From Region 1, customer can take any vehicle, however in region 2, customers can take any vehicle except Economy and Compact vehicles across the border into Chile. Uruguay and Brazil-If Customer wishes to cross border into Uruguay and Brazil, a permit can be issued in the amount of 80 USD plus tax and airport fee. This permit is separate from the permit for Chile and it can also take up to 48 hours to receive the permit. Require Documents: Copy of renters passport and drivers license. No one way rentals are allowed between countries. Roadside Assistance- may be provided at an additional charge when traveling outside of Argentina. Off-road driving is not allowed.

Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP1) is not insurance and is included in the Time & Mileage rate. With the purchase of CDW-TP1, we agree, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW-TP, to contractually waive your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle. In Argentina, PLI is included in the CDW-TP1 rate. There is a deductible for CDW-TP1 ranging from $1995-$5500, depending on car class. $1995 – Economy to Compact $2280 – Midsize to Full-size $3420 – Premium to Full-size Van In the event of a rollover, deductible applies as follows. $3000 – Economy to Compact $4300 – Midsize to Full-size $5500 – Premium to Full-size Van Coverage from third party websites or customers personal insurance is not valid in Argentina and does not waive the CDW-TP1 fee.

Delivery and Collection not available. customer can pre-arrange pick-up and drop off of vehicle in advance Pick-Up/drop off is available at a cost of $5.00 for 0-5 KM. Pick-Up/drop off is available at a cost of $10.00 for 6-15 KM. Pick-Up/Drop off is not available beyond 15 KM.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid. There is an minimum length of rental of 4 days for one ways picking up in one city and dropping off in another city. For reservations booked within the same city there is no MLR.

Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company agrees, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW-TP, to contractually waive your responsibility for the cost of damage to or loss of the vehicle after the deductible of up to 5,000.00 USD, depending on car class. CDW-TP does not cover hail damage to the vehicle or damage to or loss of the windshield or tires. If CDW-TP is declined, the renter is responsible for the full cost of damage or the full value of the vehicle. Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside Argentina do not provide coverage in Argentina. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage. The customer should contact their insurance company in advance of the pickup date for the rental with any questions regarding their specific coverage.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel. Option 1- We Refill This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 40% surcharge will apply. Option 2- You Refill This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals and redeem points at this location. Redemption reservations must be booked online by the customer, in advance of their scheduled pick up date. Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption reservations must be booked in advance of their scheduled pick up date (either online or by phone). Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits on National and Enterprise brand rentals, but can only redeem at National brand locations. A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction. Credit Cards Honored: American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA® An authorization on the credit card will be taken on all rentals and may range from $1995 - $3420, depending on car class. This authorization amount may be toed toward damages of vehicles, late charges or citations incurred during rental of vehicle. $1995 for Economy to Compact $2280 for Midsize to Full-size $3420 for Premium and above Debit/Check cards are only accepted at this location as a form of final payment. Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card with American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Diners Club®, Discover® logo. Cash is only accepted at this location as a form of final payment.

Must meet the location's minimum age requirements. Present a valid driver's license from country of origin. International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted. Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental. This location accepts notarized Chinese Drivers License.

Third Party Liability (TPL) is included in the time and mileage rate. TPL covers damages and injuries to third parties under the local rental car company's insurance (according to law N* 24449 and its corresponding regulations), and provides you with liability coverage for all accident-related expenses not pertaining to passengers of a third party vehicle and for damages to third party vehicles, up to the policy limits, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL. No deductible applies.

Renters with licences from countries that are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK.

  • A full tank of fuel is not guaranteed.

Fuel policy at airport car rental locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refuelling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel — pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • The pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of fuel minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Pre-paid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
