Officially known as Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos Airport, Kalamata Airport (KLX) is found in the south of Greece, between the cities of Messini and Kalamata. Like many other airports located throughout the Mediterranean, this location caters mainly to seasonal flights. A handful of airlines that operate out of Kalamata Airport include British Airways, Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air, easyJet and Eurowings. Aegean Airlines has a base of operations within this airport. The nearest Enterprise Rent-A-Car offices are found just off route 82, approximately five minutes south of the main terminal by car. THE RENTAL VEHICLE IS SUPPLIED WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL. THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE RETURNED WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF FUEL OTHERWISE THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL FUEL PRICE.

SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION, SLP THIRD PARTY LIABILITY, IS INCLUDED IN THE RATE AND COVERS EACH PERSON FOR THE AMOUNT OF UP TO EUR 750,000 FOR BODILY INJURY AND OR DEATH TO THIRD PARTIES AS WELL AS UP TO EUR 750,000 FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

Cross border policy. Cross Border rentals are allowed only within the European Union. A prior written authorization is required. There is also an insurance premium fee that applies depending on the length of the trip and the country. There is an additional kilometer charge of 0.30 EUR PER KM to be paid by the customer. The guarantee is equal to the value of the rental car. These types of rentals should be requested from the rental location at least 7 working days prior to the pick-up date. Charge per green card is 90 EUR. The green card covers the rented vehicle with basic insurance TPI as long as it is located in the borders of the country for which it is issued. Delivery and Collection is available during office hours within city limits up to 15 kms and at a charge of 18 EUR excluding vat. For outside city limits, over 15 kms but at a maximum of 11km extra the renter will be charged 0.60 EUR per km excluding vat in addition to the initial 18 EUR excluding vat. For Araxos Charter International Airport approximately 40 kms from the city of Patra a charge of 25 EUR excluding vat applies per service. For deliveries to and from Piraeus port by our Athens downtown branch a charge of 18 EUR excluding vat applies. For deliveries to and from Rafinas and Lavrios harbours by our Athens downtown branch a charge of 35 EUR excluding vat applies per service.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE, PAI, PROVIDES COVERAGE FOR THE DRIVER FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES UP TO EUR 350 AND EUR 15000 FOR LOSS OF LIFE OR TOTAL PERMANENT DISABLEMENT PER ACCIDENT. THE COST OF PAI IS 4 EUR PER DAY PLUS VAT.

RENTERS MUST PRESENT THEIR PASSPORT, FOR GREEK RESIDENTS AN ID CARD WILL SUFFICE, DRIVING LICENSE AND PERSONAL CREDIT CARD. ACCEPTABLE CREDIT CARDS ARE VISA, MASTERCARD AND AMERICAN EXPRESS. CASH CARDS CAN BE USED ONLY FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE RENTAL. DUE TO PROCESSING TIME, CREDIT CARD DEPOSITS MAY TAKE UP TO 14 DAYS AFTER THE RETURN OF VEHICLE FOR THE MONIES TO BE RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER. A DEPOSIT OF 900 EUROS FOR COMPACT CDMR CCMR CXMR CDAR CFMN, AND INTERMEDIATE ICMR IDMR CAR GROUPS IS REQUIRED. A DEPOSIT OF 1400 EUROS FOR FULLSIZE FVMR, INTERMEDIATE SUV IFMR AND PREMIUM PDMR CAR GROUPS IS REQUIRED. FOR CAR GROUPS MINI A1 MDMR AND ECONOMY B1 EDMR, THE RENTER HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEPOSIT IN CASH THE DEDUCTIBLE AMOUNT OF CDW PLUS 150 EUROS PER DAY INSTEAD OF USING A CREDIT CARD. IN THIS CASE THE PURCHASE OF CDW COVERAGE IS MANDATORY. IN THE CASE CDW IS NOT PURCHASED, A VALID CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE VALUE TO BE HELD AS A DEPOSIT.

Renters with licences from countries that are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK.

  • A full tank of fuel is not guaranteed.

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refuelling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel — pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • The pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of fuel minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Pre-paid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
