Rental Policies

First additional driver free with 50 SAR per day fee applicable for extra additional drivers. Full rental conditions apply to additional drivers and the additional driver must be present at the time of rental.

Minimum age to rent is 23 years old for car groups Economy to Compact, 25 for Intermediate and Midsize and 30 for Standard and above. No young driver fee applies. Maximum Age to rent is 70 years old.

CDW - Collision Damage Waiver provides excess coverage for damage applied to the body of the rental vehicle. It does not cover damage to tires, windshields or the underbody of the vehicle during the rental. A daily premium fee which ranges from 15 to 100 SAR depending on the car group rented is applicable for CDW. If CDW and SCDW is waived the renter will be responsible for an excess deductible ranging from 1500 to 3000 SAR depending on the car group rented in cases of damage caused to the rental vehicle.

One-Way Rentals are available between rental locations in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. Drop charge fees apply for one-way travel and are quoted at the time of reservation.

All vehicles are delivered with a half tank of fuel and should be returned in the same condition. If the rental vehicle is returned with less than a half tank of fuel, the renter will be charged a refueling service fee of 1 SAR per liter of fuel.

Cross Border Travel- Customers are permitted to drive into Bahrain only. Customers must specify their intent to drive cross border into Bahrain at the time of rental. The required fees and documents are- Approval letter which is prepared at the rental counter. Approval letter fee is 100 SAR. Cross border fee is 20 SAR each way In and Out. Total 40 SAR. Renters will be denied cross border access without the approval letter.

Acceptable Methods of Payment are Credits cards AMEX, Visa, MasterCard and all cards on the Saudi Payments Network SPAN, Vouchers and Cash when supported with a valid credit card are accepted. Deposits- Deposits with credit cards are accepted with the amounts based on the estimated cost of the rental. Cash deposits are also accepted with a supporting credit card.

Roadside assistance is provided by a third party on behalf of Enterprise. Roadside assistance is available 24-7 by calling the number stated on the rental contract. This service is free of charge. Roadside Assistance includes mechanical assistance, towing, replacement car and pickups. This protection is subject to the terms and conditions of your rental contract and applicable laws. Roadside Assistance service does not cover breakdowns outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Renter Requirements- Drivers license must have been held for at least one year. Holders of an International Driving License are required to also show their Passport with visitors visa at the time of rental as an additional form of ID. Other acceptable forms of ID alongside a valid driving license is an Iqama Long-term Visa and Business Card. Visitors holding Umrah or and Haj visas are prohibited to rent as per Saudi law.

To rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the United States and Canada, you will need the following:

  • To be 25 years old 
  • A valid driving licence with a photo
  • A photo ID (for example: a driving licence or passport)
  • Credit or debit card (check the acceptable forms of payment at the location you're renting from)

Some locations may require additional information, including but not limited to: 

  • An International Driving Permit (IDP): If the licence is written in a language or characters different from those of the country of rental, an IDP is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licences from countries that are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK. 

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Fuel policy at non-airport locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refuelling charge may apply at some locations.
  • A full tank of fuel is not guaranteed.

Fuel policy at airport car rental locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refuelling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel — pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • The pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of fuel minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Pre-paid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
