Trabzon Airport is an important hub for domestic flights within Turkey. Opened in 1957, the airport is roughly five miles east along the coast from the important city of Trabzon. Drive to the west of the city and you'll find Ortahisar, a lovely old district that straddles a ravine. It's well worth driving out to the former Byzantine monastery in Sumela, some 30 miles to the south of Trabzon. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licences from countries that are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
- Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK.

- You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refuelling charge may apply at some locations.
- A full tank of fuel is not guaranteed.

- You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refuelling charge may apply at some locations.
- You may opt to pre-pay for fuel — pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
- You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
- The pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of fuel minus a per gallon discount.
Note: Pre-paid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
